During my research, I found myself drawn to a very classic and prestigious color scheme consisting of a light blue and khaki color combination. I decided to build upon that and run with it from there. Imagine my surprise when Kara sent over her headshots and my colors matched her photos PERFECTLY! I literally did a happy dance in my office!

While I continued sketching out my ideas, I was really inspired by Kara’s bubbly personality and GORGEOUS curled hair. There is a bit of whimsy and playfulness about it that I just couldn’t get over and since I wanted to incorporate her personality as much as possible, it was easy to create the lines of the icon while playing into this!

Kara Heaslip’s brand represents warmth, comfort, stability, and personal style…everything her clients look for in a home! The icon is a meticulously curated flow that seamlessly includes a “K”, an “H”, and a “door”. Each straight line keeps this look strong while each curve adds in a bit of her cheerful persona.
